New Caledonian Woodlands - Wood Fuel Collection Day - Edinburgh, Sat 31st Aug in Old Town, Gloucestershire for sale

Do you have a wood stove? Would you like to burn logs, a carbon neutral fuel? Do you find it hard to get hold of logs at a reasonable price? Is there a bit of a lumber Jack/Jill inside of you? If the answer to any of these questions is YES, you might like to join us for a timber harvesting day on Sunday 31st August at Craigentinny Woodlands in the centre of Edinburgh. Lack of experience not a problem, we will show you what to do and provide complete safety cover. Of course, the logs will be green and you will have to store them for a year, but it’s a good place to start and it’s bound to be fun! You will need to find your own way to the site by car, moped, bike, skateboard or public transport. Obviously, your means of transport will determine how much lovely firewood you can take home. The event costs £15 per car for up to 2 people and £5 per head thereafter and we will provide all expert tuition, tools, food and drink for the day. This project will run at Craigentinny Woodlands, Edinburgh on Saturday 31st August.
